The humble tow hook serves two important purposes. The intended function is for when you send it too hard on the race track- allowing safety workers to retrieve your car in the least amount of time possible, with the least amount of effort, with the least amount of damage to your vehicle. Your fellow track-day participants will thank you for having them, and publicly shame you if you don't. Some tracks are even threatening to require tow hooks on all vehicles and if you don't have one they will send you home.

The second most important function of the tow hook is to look bitchin'.  Most tow hooks you see in the wild are on cars that have zero intention of ever needing them on a race track, but people will think you're a cool track monster, and sometimes that's all that matters.  We've created the Titan Tow Hook to perform the two tasks of this humble device better than anything that has come before it.

The towing eye itself is milled in our 5-axis CNC from a solid chunk of 7075 billet aluminum. A hook made of much more common and far cheaper 6061 wouldn't pass the sniff test for us, but 7075 is nearly twice as strong as 6061. You could hang your whole car from this hook without it breaking a sweat, so it will pull you out of a tire wall just fine.  The hooks are tumbled to a bright polished surface and finished off with red, blue, or black anodize.

The shaft and eyelets are made from 17-4PH stainless steel and heat treated to the ultra strong H900 condition, which also gives it its distinctive gold color. Most tow hooks use a heim joint for articulation of the hook, which is generally only done because it's easy and Chinense heim joints are cheap. We chose to do it the best way instead of the cheap way, and make the 17-4 eyelets from scratch on our live tooling Y-axis lathe.

Everything is held together with stainless steel hardware, so nothing will ever rust, fade, or become loose and sloppy. Your tow hook will look and function as pristine as the day you got it - whether you send it too hard into a wall, or are just hard parking it at Cars N' Coffee.
