Get recovered fast. Look bitchin’ while you’re waiting.

The humble tow hook has two important jobs. First, it gives the safety crew a fast, obvious, and secure way to retrieve your Corvette after you send it a little too hard. Second, it has to look good enough that you’ll probably leave it installed even when you’re nowhere near a racetrack.

Most tow hooks solve those jobs with a generic towing eye, commodity hardware, and a cheap off-the-shelf heim joint. That wasn’t going to pass the sniff test for us, so we built the Titan from scratch.

Built for the wall. Styled for Cars & Coffee.

Whether you’re actually getting pulled out of a tire barrier or simply hard parking with your race-car friends, the Titan is designed to stay tight, resist corrosion, articulate properly, and look like it belongs on the car.

The AMT Difference

Not a generic hook with our name slapped on it.

Every major part was selected and manufactured for strength, durability, proper articulation, and Corvette-specific fitment.

7075 Billet Towing Eye

The towing eye is 5-axis CNC machined from a solid chunk of 7075 aluminum. Common 6061 would have been cheaper and easier, but 7075 is nearly twice as strong—and this is not a part where we felt like saving a few bucks.

Machined from solid 7075 billet, tumbled, polished, and anodized.

17-4PH Stainless, H900

The shaft and articulation eyelets are machined from 17-4PH stainless steel and heat treated to the ultra-strong H900 condition. The heat treatment is also what gives the shaft its distinctive gold finish.

Machined in-house, heat treated, and laser engraved.

No Cheap Heim Joint

Most tow hooks use an off-the-shelf heim joint because it is easy and cheap. We machine the 17-4 stainless eyelets from scratch and use a purpose-built articulated joint instead, giving the hook the movement it needs without turning into a loose, sloppy, rattling mess.

Proper articulation without generic commodity hardware.

Proper Corvette Fitment

Titan Tow Hooks are available for the front and rear mounting locations on C7 and C8 Corvettes. The C8 Z06 requires its own rear version to properly clear the unique rear bumper valance—because, naturally, GM couldn’t make that part easy.

Select the correct chassis and mounting location when ordering.

Made Properly

Every major component is manufactured for the job.

The towing eye is cut from 7075 billet on our 5-axis CNC. The shaft and articulation eyelets are machined from 17-4PH stainless steel and heat treated to H900. Everything is assembled with stainless steel hardware so the Titan remains corrosion resistant, secure, and ready when somebody finally has to pull on it.

The towing eyes are tumbled to a bright polished surface before being finished in red, blue, or black anodize.
