The C7 Corvette's adjustable rear lower control arms give you far more alignment flexibility than previous generations. They also give you another alignment setting you can get wrong.
Our rear caster tool uses the factory alignment holes in the rear spindle to give you a simple, accurate reference for setting rear caster.
There are other ways to check rear caster on a C7. Most involve loose pins, wing nuts, undersized locating pins, or 3D-printed pieces with magnets glued to them.
We wanted one durable tool that fits the spindle correctly, adjusts for normal factory hole-location tolerance, and will probably still be in your toolbox long after the car is gone.

One pin floats laterally to compensate for normal variation in where the factory spindle alignment holes are located. Set it to your spindle, lock it down, and you're done.
Instead of intentionally undersizing the pins to compensate for factory tolerance, ours are sized for a proper slide fit in the reamed spindle holes.
Use the factory alignment holes, attach a small magnetic angle gauge, and set the rear caster.
Insert the two locating pins into the factory rear-spindle alignment holes.
Slide the adjustable pin to match your spindle and lock it securely into position.
Attach your magnetic angle gauge and adjust rear caster to 0° ±0.5°.
