M-80 Adjustable Rear Toe Links · C7 Corvette

Set the toe. Lock it down. Stop thinking about it.

The factory C7 rear toe adjustment works reasonably well right up until you start asking substantially more from the suspension.

Add serious negative camber and the stock toe links begin running out of adjustment. Add sticky tires and track loads and the factory eccentric also becomes one more suspension adjustment capable of slipping when you'd really prefer that it didn't.

M-80 Toe Links replace both problems with a simple turnbuckle-adjustable link, premium FK rod ends, hardened stainless hardware, and fixed eccentric-lockout plates.

Why Rear Toe Matters

This is not an alignment setting you want changing halfway through a corner.

Rear toe has an enormous influence on how stable and predictable a car feels, particularly at speed.

Your alignment shop can spend all afternoon putting the rear toe exactly where you want it, but that number only matters if the suspension actually keeps it there.

That's why we don't particularly love relying on a round eccentric cam to hold one of the more important alignment settings on a heavily tracked Corvette.

Two Problems. One Part.

More adjustment range and no more toe eccentric.

01 · Adjustment Range

The stock links eventually run out of room.

Once rear camber moves beyond roughly -2 degrees, the factory C7 toe adjustment starts becoming the limiting factor in getting the rear alignment where you actually want it.

The M-80 provides substantially more usable toe adjustment so adding track-oriented camber doesn't leave you unable to correct toe afterward.

02 · Eccentric Slippage

We'd rather the bolt just stay where we put it.

The factory toe link relies on another round eccentric cam for adjustment.

M-80s replace that eccentric adjustment with fixed aluminum plates. Toe is then adjusted at the link itself instead of by rotating a cam inside the cradle.

The Other Half Of The C7 Camber Kit

You eliminated the other slipping eccentrics. Might as well finish the job.

Our C7 Adjustable Camber Kit replaces the factory round eccentric cams at the lower control arms with positive-position adjustment plates.

But the factory rear toe eccentric is a separate adjustment point. Leave the stock toe link in place and you've still got one eccentric hiding back there.

The M-80 Toe Links remove that final eccentric while also supplying the extra toe range needed when you start running serious rear camber.

Good Old-Fashioned Turnbuckles

Fine adjustment without playing roulette with an eccentric cam.

Alignment adjustment should not be complicated.

Loosen the jam nuts, rotate the center section of the M-80, watch the toe measurement move exactly where you want it, then lock everything back down.

Because the link adjusts in place, there's no need to disconnect an end or fight with the factory eccentric every time you want to make a small toe change.

The AMT Difference

We didn't make our own version just to make another version.

M-80s came from wanting a toe link that fit correctly, adjusted easily, used hardware we trusted, and stayed that way.

01

.875" 7075 Billet Bodies

The center links are machined from stout .875-inch-diameter 7075 aluminum billet, giving the assembly the stiffness and strength we wanted without unnecessary bulk.

FK PTFE-Lined Rod Ends

The pivot points use premium FK PTFE-lined spherical rod ends rather than inexpensive generic heims. They're precise, smooth, and guaranteed for life.

Hardened 17-4PH Tapered Pins

Custom tapered pins are machined from hardened 17-4PH stainless steel and press-fit into the spherical bearings to eliminate unwanted play at the joint.

Eccentric Lockout Plates

Machined aluminum plates replace the factory toe eccentric and positively locate the mounting point. Adjustment happens where it belongs: at the toe link.

Why We Started Making Them

We got tired of selling somebody else's problems.

For years we sold another adjustable toe-link solution.

We dealt with fitment issues. We dealt with inconsistent hardware and rod-end quality. And after repeatedly trying to get those problems corrected at the supplier level, eventually the obvious solution was to stop complaining and make the damn things ourselves.

So we designed the M-80 around the C7, selected the hardware we wanted to use, machined the pieces ourselves, and made fitment our problem instead of the customer's.
