Remove your C8 splitter in approximately six seconds without exposed strut rods or crawling underneath the car. The AMT system uses billet aluminum structures, adjustable supports, cable-operated 700 lb latches, and chassis-mounted hardware engineered for the Zebulon and LG Motorsport splitters. Splitter sold separately.

Five hours once. Five seconds every time after that.

A giant race splitter is awesome right up until you need to load the trailer, work underneath the car, remove the front bumper, or get through a driveway without destroying several thousand dollars worth of carbon fiber.

We do not believe there is a quicker—or more release-ier—splitter mounting system available for the C8 Corvette, or any platform. It took considerably more time designing, prototyping, machining, refining, and wind-tunnel testing than we care to admit, but the result is the ultimate splitter mounting and un-mounting solution for the C8 Corvette.

Pull the handle. Remove the splitter.

Once installed, the AMT Quick-Release Splitter Kit allows the entire splitter assembly to be removed in approximately five seconds—without exposed strut rods, wrestling with hardware beneath the car, or spending half your paddock time taking the front end apart.

The AMT Difference

Far more complicated than it looks on TV.

Making something release quickly is easy. Making it release quickly, stay properly located, carry serious aerodynamic load, and remain adjustable enough to fit multiple splitters is where all the work happened.

Five-Second Removal

A single remote handle releases the cable-operated front latches. The splitter is pulled away from the rear supports and the entire thing is removed from the car in a matter of seconds.

Trailer loading and under-car service can stop being a giant pain in the ass.

700-Pound Latches

The system uses a pair of industrial quick-release latches rated for 700 pounds each. Both are operated remotely by cable so the splitter can be released from an accessible handle rather than by crawling underneath the front bumper.

Fast to release does not mean lightly attached.

Bolted to the Chassis

The mounting structures attach to readily available factory locations wherever possible. The front structure requires Rivnuts in the crash beam, creating a solid chassis-mounted foundation without turning the installation into a full fabrication project.

Proper load paths, no decorative bumper-cover mounting nonsense.

Fully Adjustable Supports

Machined aluminum support bodies and rod ends allow the splitter height, angle, and preload to be dialed in properly. The system was designed to accommodate both the Zebulon and LG Motorsport splitters without exposed strut rods hanging off the front bumper and fits both Z51 and Z06 cars.

Adjustable enough to fit the car correctly, rigid enough to stay there.

Yes, It Really Comes Off That Fast

See it in action.

One video in the shop and one during an actual trailer load. No cuts, no twenty-minute teardown, and no army of people holding loose parts.

Made Properly

A ridiculous number of billet parts for one simple motion.

Like everything we make, the custom brackets, receivers, supports, and linkages are all machined from billet aluminum. The system uses proper mechanical location, adjustable support points, industrial latches, and stainless hardware rather than relying on loose pins, exposed rods, or vague bumper-cover attachment points.

It looks simple when the splitter drops away from the car. Making that motion repeatable, rigid, and strong enough for real aero load is why the kit contains considerably more hardware than a pair of hood pins.

Splitter Compatibility

Direct fit for the two serious C8 splitter options.

The mounting hardware was designed as a direct bolt-on solution for both the Zebulon C8 Splitter and the LG Motorsports C8 GT2 Splitter. We provide the hardware and support required to mount our system to either splitter.

Have something custom? Contact us before ordering. The kit may be adaptable, but we are not going to promise direct fitment to a splitter we have never seen.

Read This Before Ordering

This is the mounting system only.

We are going to make this painfully clear so nobody opens the box and wonders where the giant carbon-fiber splitter went.

  • The splitter itself is not included. Purchase the Zebulon or LG splitter separately.
  • Plan approximately six hours for the initial installation if you are working carefully and taking your time. The front bumper must be removed.
  • Installation requires drilling clearance holes in the front crash beam.
  • Several plastic underbody panels must be removed, trimmed, or modified.
  • Based on our wind-tunnel testing with the Zebulon splitter, the calculated maximum safe attachment speed is approximately 275 mph. We recommend staying below 250 mph.
  • The kit is designed for the C8 Corvette, Z51 and Z06 only.
